![]() If this were like $10 I might get it but at close to twenty I'd personally rather just put that towards the Switch version. Unless you are hard up for playing on a 3DS/2DS because of the ultra-portability or the 3D screen I would recommend the Switch version over this one because there's a paid DLC with additional content that the 3DS version never got and there's also a 2-player co-operative mode. Despite the criticisms I would have there was still fun to be had as the level variety and designs are interesting and the presentation is nice. Though of course the levels here are much smaller. In some ways it feels like they tried to milk each level as much as possible with the optional side objectives to try to make you replay them multiple times, sort of how in Super Mario 64 they made you replay the level because you had to exit every time you got one of the stars. The original Star Fox on SNES was proof that Nintendo could do a polygonal space opera, but it wasn’t until the game was remade on the Nintendo 64 that the series became truly great. ![]() I borrowed the game from my local library and outside of going for a max coin run on certain levels I didn't really find anything all that challenging so you could say I found the puzzles to be too easy.
